Team Members Celebrated and Rewarded at Melaleuca’s Annual Family Picnic

A high of 94°F couldn’t stop the biggest Team Melaleuca event of the year. Thousands of Team Members and their families gathered just outside Melaleuca Global Headquarters for five hours of carnival-style fun. The Melaleuca Family Picnic is just one way that Melaleuca thanks its amazing Team Members for their hard work and dedication. The picnic is great opportunity for Team Members and their families to visit with each other and strengthen connections.

The farm-field-turned-fairgrounds were filled with excitement and activities for the whole family. Rock walls, bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses, mechanical bulls, horse rides, and even helicopter rides were available to the thousands of attendees. Once evening settled in, dinner was served— Riverbend Ranch Black Label Beef, salads, hot dogs, and whole-roasted pigs with carving stations served by the Management Team.

Melaleuca Founder and Executive Chairman Frank VanderSloot specifically thanked Team Members for their ongoing contributions before extending his gratitude to their spouses and family members for their support.

Once everyone had eaten their fill, the event launched into one of its highlights—an extensive prize drawing. The prizes included more than 100 items, such as electronics, sports equipment, toys, household appliances, and more.

To announce the winners of three grand prizes, which are vacations to Universal Studios and Mexico or a substantial Costco gift card, Melaleuca CEO Jerry Felton took the microphone. Rewarding loyalty and longevity at Melaleuca, the grand prize drawing had a basket where each Team Member has their name put into it one time for each year they have worked at Melaleuca.
