Every year, as Halloween approaches, each department at Melaleuca plans out and decorates a themed area in the Melaleuca Event Center, creating one grand trick-or-treat path to be enjoyed by Team Members and especially children and grandchildren.
The faboolous event brings thousands of attendees donned in spooky and fun costumes, who marvel at each exhibit along the path. This is a longstanding Melaleuca tradition that only gets better each year. Apart from the trick-or-treat path, there is also a coloring contest for Team Members and children, as well as a pumpkin-carving contest for Team Members.
“It was a fun, wholesome, and safe time with my kids,” says Graphic Designer Evan Wilson. “Each section was a surprise with all the hard work and creativity really showing through! My whole family really enjoyed it!”
This year, attendees were treated to Toy Story nostalgia, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, a Pirates of the Caribbean treasure trove, a Beetlejuice set, a Stranger Things compilation, a Pokémon area, an old Western scene, an elaborate Hocus Pocus–inspired museum, and more.
“Each year, my kids love going to Melaleuca’s Halloween celebration,” says Marketing Translator Cesar Duran. “My 7-year-old was amazed at the many booths and my 10-year-old said the decorations were so cool. It is awesome to work at a company like Melaleuca that holds family events like these.”
Family First at Melaleuca
Halloween isn’t the only magical time of year at Melaleuca: The Wellness Company. The company puts on many different events big and small as a thank-you to our hardworking Team Members. From a giant carnival-style family picnic in the summer to a company Christmas party, with cornhole, golf, basketball, and more in between.
These events are about more than just having fun. They help build camaraderie, enhance the lives of our Team Members and their family members, and keep Melaleuca’s culture strong and lively.
